Hotel Land Valuations

A collection of books and articles that provide an overview of how to perform a hotel land valuation.  Most appraisers will use the sales comparison approach to value land.  However, a better method for hotel land valuation is the ground lease approach.  There are several articles in this section that describe the hotel ground lease approach for land valuations.

Become a Certified Hotel Appraiser/Valuer

If you are an experienced appraiser looking to specialize in valuing hotels or a new valuer starting your career, you need to obtain a hotel valuation certification issued by the International Association of Hotel Appraisers.
